Ford's mechanical carnage at Le Mans included the Daytona Cobras as well and only the Jack Sears/Dick Thompson car (CSX2299) survived despite the damage shown here caused by a collision with an Alfa Romeo. Thompson approaches Tertre Rouge followed by the Rover-B. R. M. on his way to 8th place and 1st in the GT 5000 class.

The Claude Dubois/Chris Tuerlinx Shelby Mustang GT350 follows the Jochen Rindt/Gerhard Mitter Porsche 907 (003) through the Esses on Saturday afternoon at Le Mans 1967. Both cars retired early on.

Having missed his refuelling signal, an exhausted Chris Amon pushes the Shelby American Ford GT 40 towards the pits, being watched by officials and photographers, dropping from 3rd to 8th as a result.

The Bizzarrini entered Jean de Mortmart/Regis Fraissinet Iso Grifo A3/C (BO 222) car no. 3 that finished 9th and the Scuderia Filipinetti Shelby Cobra Daytona coupe (CSX2602) of Peter Sutcliffe/Peter Harper that retired with a blown engine in the Esses.
