In qualifying no-one could beat Jacky Ickx's time. Pedro Rodriguez did get his BRM to within two-tenths of the Belgian Ferrari driver while Regazzoni (2nd Ferrari) snatched third grid position from Stewart's March. Giunti is 5th in the 3rd Ferrari.
